CLIENT: Collaborating with SEAD Project

As Khmer new year fast approaches, I wanted to share a project I worked on with The SEAD Project. They reached out to me after an Instagram follower recommended my work. The initiative is to showcase Southeast Asian artists by creating greetings cards. The theme was Gratitude, Pandemic, and New Year. Along with some AMAZING artists and illustrator, I’m hugely humbled by the fact that I got chosen to create Khmer calligraphy cards.

Before I started the project, I did some initial research and brainstorm.

After presenting the research, I showed some sketches. Even though I did a lot of sketches, I only shared a few I thought were the best.

We went through several rounds of design using Procreate and Illustrator. I finished the work in Photoshop and InDesign.
