How I design tattoos
These days I get a lot of requests for tattoo designs based on my Cambodian calligraphy. Here’s a look at what you can expect when ordering a design from me.
After the initial purchase, I draw a lot of different doodles. Typically, the client would go to my sample styles I show on my website to get a sense of what they want. I help clients come up with spelling if they do not know how to spell in Khmer.

From those doodles, I select 3 I think are the strongest designs to present to the client. Client can still see all the additional drawings. Sometimes, clients end up choosing from the sketches instead.

For simple designs, I finalize using vector program. This creates a smooth design without pixelation.
