Favorite Pens for non-paper media
While my main medium is paper, I often do various media for in-house works like engraving or customization. For non-engraving work, I opt for pen to avoid spilling and bringing in ink to a nice store. Here are some options that you might be interested in trying.
My most favorite and my go-to pen for on-site customization at events or markets is this liquid chrome pen from Molotow. I love the finish and the mirror effect. It does have a bit of smell but it’s amazing. I also love that I can refill the pen as well.
Another favorite pen that I use on-site is the Molotow acrylic pen. Molotow is, in general, one of my favorite pens.
If you’re short on cash, Sharpie pens are the best.
For fabric pens, I go to Marvy fabric pens because it comes in thick and thin brush sizes. And they dry fast when clients are in a rush to get their bag to go.
And finally, if you’re at markets, this Marvy chalk marker is a must have. I carry it in my pocket throughout the market when I need to change price as the day wears on.
If you have others you like, let me know! I’m always looking to try new art materials.
